Partner Program Terms — in plain language

This page is the actual deal for the partner program: an outside promoter sends people to Never and gets paid cash per customer who stays. The legal version lives in the Terms of Service; if the two ever disagree, tell us — the intent is this page. Linked directly from /affiliate. Last updated: 2026-08-27.
Not the same thing as referrals. If you are a Never customer telling a friend, you want the referral terms — that program pays in finished minutes and needs no application. This page is for people promoting Never to an audience, who want to be paid in money.

Applying

  • Anyone can apply. There is no minimum audience and no interview.
  • Every application is read by a person. Your link does nothing until the application is approved, and we usually get to it inside two business days.
  • We can decline, and we can pause an account we have questions about. Referrals you already earned are not touched by a pause.

Your link

  • You get one link: api.nevereditagain.com/p/<your-code>. Put it anywhere you like.
  • Anything you add to it as ?utm_source=… comes back to you in your referrals table, so you can see which channel actually works.
  • We record the click, not the person: your visitors' IP addresses are stored only as a keyed one-way hash, and we can never turn one back into an address.

Who counts as your referral

  • Someone new to Never who clicks your link and then creates an account. An account that already existed before the click is not a referral.
  • First touch wins. If someone clicks your link and later clicks another partner's, the referral stays yours. The reverse is also true, which is the only reason the rule is fair.
  • An account can be attributed to a partner once, ever.
  • Referring yourself does not work. We check your address against the account's at attribution and again before any money moves.

What you earn, and when

  • $50 per referral that is still a paying customer 30 days after it starts paying.
  • That 30-day hold is exactly our unconditional money-back window. Nothing pays out while the customer can still ask for a full refund — that is what makes the commission affordable and what keeps it honest.
  • At the end of the hold we look again. A referral that cancelled, downgraded to free, paused, or deleted its account inside the hold does not qualify — and your referrals table says which of those happened, in words.
  • Nothing partial and nothing recurring: one qualified referral, one commission, once.

Getting paid

  • Your balance has three states and money is only ever in one of them: available (yours to request), requested (asked for, waiting on the bank run), and paid.
  • Add your IBAN and the account holder's name to request a payout. We check the IBAN's checksum when you save it, when you request, and again before the bank file is written.
  • The minimum payout is $50. Requests are reviewed and paid by bank transfer.
  • The bank details are frozen onto the request the moment you make it, so changing your profile afterwards can never redirect money you have already asked for.
  • If a request is rejected, the exact amount goes straight back to available and the rejection says why.

Fair play

  • We can void a commission that turns out to be fraudulent — a self-referral through a second address, a purchase refunded outside the hold, an account we can show was bought to farm the program. You will see it on your referrals table, and a person made that call, not a script.
  • We will never invoice you for a reversed commission or leave your balance negative.

What we never do

  • We never sell or share your visitors' data, and we never store their IP addresses.
  • We never post anything on your behalf.
  • We never pay for downline, sub-affiliates, or recruiting other partners. There is no such thing here — you earn on the customers you actually bring.
